The United States House of Representatives has approved S. 2155 , the “Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act.” Among is provisions is a commonsense reform clarifying that persons selling manufactured homes will not be considered “loan originators” for simply helping a customer during the loan process, provided that they are not compensated for the loan.
This legislation has already been approved by the US Senate, and it now heads to President Trump for his signature.
